Heard the fire alarm go off at the building across from us, so I went down to see if anything was worth noting, but nothing to report except some fire trucks

Hollywood Museum

Made a visit to the Hollywood Museum where they have a lot of costumes/outfits from movies and tv shows. Pretty cool place, fun to see once....

Barney's suit from How I Met Your Mother, and from my favorite show 24....Jack Bauer's outfit from 24: Redemption and President Allison Taylor's suit from season 7...

Downstairs they also had Hannibal Lecter's cell....

Cafe Verona

On La Brea, just off of 3rd street is a small cafe with a pretty cool atmosphere.... Its an Italian place that serves breakfast til later in the day along with the pastas and all that. I got the spaghetti amatriciana which was a spicy spaghetti with sauteed tomatoes, pancetta, onions, white wine, italian hot peppers and pecorino cheese. Sophy got an Italian Frittata which looks like a pizza but is actually a Italian country style omlette....

Kamin Thai Fusion Cuisine

Tried this restaurant on Melrose, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the Garlic Pepper Shrimp Pasta (shown here) and Sophy ordered Pad See Ew.....both were very good dishes, I definitely recommend this place.

I'm thinking of doing a week long series of Restaurant reviews on my blog, a guaranteed different restaurant for every meal haha

Chicken Madeira

My very own chicken madeira....but the cheese always burns in the broiler :/ still tastes good though

Car Detail

One of my coworker's detailed my car and did a great job...got rid of some of the minor paint scuffs, swhirls, and all....now its all shiny!

He does the work entirely by himself and is very particular about every .....well, "detail"

Extraordinary Deserts

...in San Diego. We ordered the Carmelized apple cheesecake and the strawberry coffee cake....

Buon Appetito

A great restaurant in San Diego's Little Italy, I think it was voted in the Best of San Diego magazine. Anyway, had the homemade gnocchi and tried a bit of the homemade ravioli!
