White House

After requesting one from Boxer and Feinstein, we were lucky enough to get a tour of the White House. We didn't get to see everything of course, but we did get to see many of the different rooms open to guests of the White House. The coolest part was the various paintings of past presidents.

An upscale southern restaurant in DC, just behind the White House. In fact, according to this article, the Obamas ate here....

I typically don't order fried chicken when I go to a restaurant, but I thought I'd give it a try and I was so pleased with my meal! The restaurant turns basic food into something really good....the mac n cheese was unique as well.....

Just arrived from New York via bus....doesn't the subway station look like the inside of space mountain....anyway, we're at the Renaissance Mayflower

Forgot about the Kabobs

So all over New York are these street carts where they grill Chicken Kabobs, add some hot sauce, and throw it in a hot dog bun.....its $4-5 for one of these and its pretty good, very convenient too....just gotta make sure it's cooked haha

So we're leaving New York and it's off to DC....we're not goin by boat, nor do I think its even really possible? But this picture was taken on the ferry to Statue of Liberty.....

Anyway, we're on one of these Chinese charter buses that take you to DC....

Madison Square Garden

Okay so I didn't get a great picture of it, but I did get a decent look at it.....its right above Penn Station which is sorta interesting because the ticketing entrance is inside the building....okay, maybe its not that interesting
