626 Night Market - Much better than the first one

It's been over a year since we went to the first ever 626 Night Market, and I think they've put it on a couple more times since then which were supposedly better, so we decided to give it another shot. This time, it was being held at the Santa Anita Race Track, in the gardens area.

We got there more than an hour after they opened and it wasn't too crowded yet. Nice place to walk around, waaaay more food vendors than the first time, and even a lot of good food trucks. Some lines were long, while others you could walk right up. It started to get pretty busy as we were leaving, so if you were planning on going, I would say that period from 4-6:30, you should be fine.

They now charge $2 to get in, but that's not bad I suppose considering an event of this magnitude and popularity. Apparently, they have almost 100 vendors which includes all sorts of Chinese, Taiwanese, Korean, and Japanese food vendors. The first iteration of the 626 Night Market ran into a problem with having only maybe what, like 10 food vendors, and that's where everyone lined up. This time, it was maybe 50-60, if not more, food vendors.

Well if you didn't get to go, I'll give them a plug, they're having them again on July 6-7 and August 3-4.

We didn't really go crazy in trying things, but we had these spiral potatoes which were pretty good, some bulgogi cheese fries, a few different skewers (filet mignon, pork belly, shrimp, chicken), and a couple different slush drinks
